The Pakistan Cricket Board today announced the team management for ICC World Twenty 20, 2010 scheduled to be held in
Despite a latest bout of controversy, the board has decided to stick with controversial figures as part of the management. It includes Yawar Saeed as manager, recently blamed for leading a group of players for the ouster of Younis Khan as captain, and Shafqat Rana as associate manager, a former selector with accusations of bribery against him.
Ijaz Ahmed, recently arrested over fraud allegations, has been named as the assistant coach of the team.
Waqar Younis will coach the team while David Dwyer will be the team trainer, his last assignment with the Pakistani team before he quits the post.
The other members include Faisal Hayat as physiotherapist, Mohammad Talha Butt as analyst and Khawaja Najam as security manager.
